This course is structured as a series of lectures to introduce the fundamental concepts of immunology. This course provides a comprehensive overview of Immunology and the knowledge that is essential for understanding the advanced level of immunology. This course broadly covers cells and tissues of the immune system, lymphocyte development, the structure and function of antigen receptors, the cell biology of antigen processing and presentation, the structure and function of MHC molecules, leukocyte migration, effector functions of activated lymphocytes, immunity to pathogens, and regulations of immune responses. This course must be taken after Cell Biology. |

This class deals with basic knowledges and ideas in the field of cancer biology. Briefly, it first starts with tumor classification as well as related nomenclature. Then, molecules involved in tumor formation will be covered. More precisely, basic principles and examples of oncogenes and tunor suppressors will be deeply covered. Basically, the lectures will cover the textbook(the Biology of Cancer, Weinberg) faithfully. This class requires prior undergraduate level knowledges in Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Genetics, and Molecular Biology. |
